Personally, my weapon of choice is the M416. It is not the easiest weapon to control in the game but the high fire rate makes it one of the best weapons in the game. It's a great all-round weapon for close to medium range spray and long-range tapping.

Towards the end of the game, I would not recommend you to stay in the same spot unless you have a 360 cover. If you cant see everything around you, there is a high chance of someone to sneak up on you.

As my last tip, I would say, analyse each death. So, as a player looking to improve, analysing each death is a great way to learn fro your mistakes and find new ways to handle different combat situations.
